Commemorating Anzac Day

IToday we had a special assembly to remember our fallen soldiers and to think about what Anzac means to us. Later in the afternoon we talked about Anzac Day while we ate some Anzac biscuits! 

Poppy making

Today in room five we talked about the significance of ANZAC day. We talked about the fallen soldiers and why this year is an extra special year. Then we made a poppy to wear at our special ANZAC assembly on Friday. 

Aquagym Day 2

We are having a great time down at the pool. Two days in and Mrs Sutherland can already see our improvements. It is so great to see Room 5 parents down here too. 

Super Spellers

This term we are going to work really hard to improve on our spelling. Hopefully you will all practice for at least five minutes every night at home so that you can get your bee into the hove on Friday!

First day at Aquagym!

What an awesome way to start the term - with an early morning swim. Room five really enjoyed their first session today. Swimming runs for the next two weeks so don't forget to bring your togs each day! 

Halfway...

Gosh the holidays are going super fast room 5!!! Just over a week and we will be back into it. I hope you are having great holidays - don't forget that we start swimming on the first day of term two so remember to bring your togs!!! See you soon.
