Mondrian Art

Lately we have been viewing appreciating  Mondrian Art. Then we practiced painting some of our own Mondrian style snowmen. 

A special visitor

On Tuesday we were so lucky in Room 5 to have Mandy Dempsey an ICT facilitator from e-time join the class and teach how to extend our learning with iPads. The children learnt how to use iMovie, Draw and Tell and Pic Collage. These are three apps that really challenge the children's creative thinking skills. 

We have also just added a new app to our ipads that focuses on coding. Coding is a fantastic way for children to experience programming and utilise logical thinking. Watch this space!! 

Parent and Student Sharing Afternoon

We had a fabulous afternoon in Room 5. The children were so excited to share their learning with 1:1 devices with parent s and caregivers.
