Room 4 and 5 had a great time during discovery on Friday afternoon. It was a great opportunity for us to have learning conversations and develop our social skills! 

A big thanks to our Room 10 buddies for helping us to create these today! 

Room Five learners looking excited for numeracy! We are learning how to put data into groups and then present that data. Today we have been looking at favourite ice cream flavours with Mrs Moore.

Room 5 Superheroes!

Here is a piece of wonderful writing we completed during week one. Each learner identified a way in which they could be superhero learner. This activity helped us to start thinking about our goals for 2016. 

Room Five have had a great first week back. All of the learners have done a wonderful job of settling back into school routines.  We have been working together to create some master pieces to decorate our learning environment. Here is the jigsaw puzzle we created based around the idea that though we enjoy different things and come from different places we all fit together and work as a team. It is symbolic of our whakatauki this week which is 'He waka eke noa' (A canoe that we are all in with no exceptions).
