Today we were lucky enough to be visited by the new Linwood Mobile Wellbeing Hub. It was a great learning opportunity for all of us! We were able to experience a get down, get low, get out obstacle course with the Fire Department, we talked with some Policemen and Policewomen and some of us were lucky enough to earn a dental hygiene kit. At the end of it all we were able to line up for a free sausage. The Wellbeing Hub will be visiting monthly so feel free to make the most of this fantastic resource and have a chat with the different agencies next time the hub is in our area.
The biggest learning curve was talking about the emergency plans we have in place at home. It is important that we have a meeting place in the case of a fire and that we are able to remember our address in the case we need to make an emergency phone call. Has your whanau got a plan?
